- Langkawi Tourism Promotion Fee – For stays between 15 March – 15 September 2020, Kedah State Government will waive the Langkawi Tourism Promotional Fee.
- Tourism Tax Act 2017 – Tourism tax of MYR 10 nett is fully exempted by the government from 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021
