Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi is set to launch its Spice Garden this August, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable tourism and responsible hospitality. Inspired by the "From Garden to Table" concept, the Spice Garden offers guests an immersive culinary experience where fresh herbs and spices are harvested directly from the garden before being used in the resort's cooking classes. This hands-on journey allows guests to discover authentic Malaysian flavours while gaining a deeper appreciation for locally grown ingredients.
The project also showcases Pelangi's sustainability efforts through environmentally conscious practices, including the use of harvested rainwater and recycled river water for irrigation, compost made from organic kitchen waste, and repurposed materials incorporated throughout the garden.
More than just a garden, the Spice Garden reflects the resort's vision of creating meaningful guest experiences while caring for the environment. By connecting nature, culture and cuisine, Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa continues to promote sustainable hospitality and inspire guests to embrace a greener way of travel, one fresh ingredient at a time.
